Edie 6515's Sponsorship Page
Jan. 13, 2025: Edie experienced her first snow and loved it! Jan. 9, 2025: Edie's personality is beginning to emerge. She is observant, nervous about trusting but shyly affectionate, and loves to run in the fields. She is doing well with crate training. She is missing her sister, who was adopted today. Evie has experienced many disruptions in her life. She is looking for a home where she can bond closely with her people. Her ideal family would one that was home most of the day in order to give Edie the continuity she needs to feel safe. Jan. 6, 2025: Edie is beginning to settle in and is slowly learning to trust. She is more reserved than her littermate, Della, and hangs back to assess situations before deciding on a course of action. She is playful, energetic and delightfully cute with her ears that can't quite decide which way to stand. She was quiet and well behaved at her first vet visit where the staff made much of her. Jan. 2, 2025: Edie was one of 8 puppies dumped in a rural area when they were 7-8 weeks old. Not much else is known about them. She and her sister landed here yesterday and are in the process of decompressing and learning to trust. They're quiet in their crate and active outside, have good appetites, and are being kept warm and safe. They are being introduced to cats, the resident dog, and sheep. They have their first vet appointment tomorrow. Stay tuned for more about these sweet pups as we learn about their personalities! Edie is being fostered in southwestern Virginia, near Blacksburg. If you are an approved adopter and would like to find out more about Edie, please contact her foster at bvfgsdfosters@gmail.com.
