Dasha is a smart and sweet little girl who is very much still a puppy and will need formal training to best exercise her mind and keep her out of trouble. She came into the rescue as an owner surrender due to a death in the family. She is shy when meeting new people and should not be rushed into new environments without proper introduction. Dasha quickly became a member of my pack and does not challenge any of my other pups but she can play a little rough. I do have concerns with Dasha playing around very small children. She does not understand how big she is and can easily hurt a child while playing by running into them. She is fine with my cats but does show them a lot of attention by sniffing and barking at them when they tease her under my dining room table. Dasha is completely house broken and has not had any accidents inside my home while being left alone for 8 hours at a time. She has not been create trained to my knowledge. Dasha does react to strangers outside my house by barking and growling. I have worked on her socialization but this will need to be continued by her forever home. Dasha reacts well with everyone at the local dog park and during VGSR adoption events. She displays a lot of generic GSD guarding behavior. I am looking for a strong leader for Dasha. She will require training and direction from everyone in the household. Feel free to email me with any questions.
