Jake is a 3 year old stunningly handsome boy. He is a sweet dog, but needs an experienced handler to teach him manners and obedience. He has lots of energy so he will need an active lifestyle. He rides well in a car and loves to be out an about! I picked him up this past weekend and took him for some retail therapy at Neiman-Marcus where he was an instant celebrity! He had a long line of admirers who stopped to say hello and compliment his movie-star good looks. He then went to Merrifield Garden Center where he again socialized with shoppers collecting more compliments and well-wishes. He had very little exposure to the outside world in his former home, but despite his isolation he handled himself with confidence, never meeting a stranger, greeting everyone with wildly wagging tail.

 

He is a happy dog who gets along with my big male GSD and lived with small children. He is a good eater but is underweight and needs to gain about 10 lbs. We are working on his manners and obedience. He is catching on quickly, but will need to continue training in his new home. Jake is a diamond in the rough, but he will become an incredible dog with time and dedication.
