Delilah has been with me for just over a week, and with very few exceptions she is a dream dog!  She is very sweet, very loving, and has become my shadow. She has definitely come out of her shell and loves to run. She has been at the dog park a number of times and typically focuses on a single dog, usually smaller, and tends to play rather rough with them, so I try to keep her away.  Other than that, though, she does great with pretty much everyone and everything. I stated that she is probably good with kids but do not know first-hand because we have not encountered any, and I am pretty sure she is not going to be good with cats because she tries to get at them in my neighborhood when we go for walks.<br><br>Delilah will definitely need some obedience training. She sometimes is so excited that she won't sit or stay, and when she knows she is going outside or if I am getting the leash, she gets very excited and starts running around. She has calmed down significantly when I am leaving the house as she gets a treat every time I go - she does not bum rush the door anymore.Delilah was attacked as a puppy and is missing part of her tongue and her left eye is damaged, possibly even blind. It does not seem to phase her in the least, however, except when she is eating out of her bowl. She does not always see all of the food in there, so I pick the bowl up and hold it so she gets a better view. She does pretty well on the leash and is corrected fairly easily.
