Gato was unfortunately released to VGSR for no fault of her own. Her owner couldnt give her the attention she needed due to unfortunate circumstances in her life, and reluctantly decided she would be better suited for a home that would better suit all of her needs. She is a rambunctious puppy who is unaware of her size and will plop on your legs in the bed and not budge. Shes a large girl, weighing 100 lbs at only 18 months old. She has a very high drive and possesses every typical trait of a solid, well rounded GSD. She is a dog with a very established personality that one cant help but love. However, she will require someone who can work on basic obedience with her and fulfill her exercise requirements. There is no denying that shes a wild one; tries to hop in the shower with you, chases the mop, bites the vacuum, etc. She has no idea what her boundaries are and will need some help establishing them. She is a happy, silly, loving, affectionate, needy, goofy, remarkable german shepherd dog. You couldnt ask for a better dog (if you like the quirky, high-maintenance ones). She has a perfect disposition and is friendly with all. Oh, I must mention I take a special liking to her because she happens to be my very own rescue dogs sister. They came from the same litter, and as fate would have itshe became my foster now! She is EXACTLY like her brother, Echo and they both are truly PITA dogsbut in the best, most amazing way ever. If you want a loyal dog that will fulfill YOUR every needthen she is your girl! I do not recommend her for first time GSD owners, as she has an incredibly high drive and those without experience dont realize the lengths they need to take to please them. German Shepherds will weasel their way into EVERY aspect of your life. I dont want to place her in a home where she is just the family dog. I would love to see her go to a home where she is a part of the family and included in nearly every aspect of their life. I seek to find someone who will love and worship her with the same devotion and commitment that she will give to you.
