Radar is a loving dog once he warms up to you. He is untrusting of new people at first and it takes him a bit to decide you are one of the good guys. He loves to play ball and go for walks. He likes to be on a leash while someone is on a bike and go for a one or two mile bike ride. He enjoys hanging out with his family at night and likes having a soft bed to sleep on. Radar has good house manners, knows to stay off the furniture and is housebroken. Radar needs a family that will let Radar know that they are in charge. Radar is not very confident and does not want to be in charge but as most German Shepherds will do, he will take charge if nobody else will. And being in charge is too much responsibility for him, it makes him nervous. He would greatly benefit from some obedience training with a good instructor. Radar was seen by the vet in March and passed everything with flying colors. He could stand to lose a pound or two but good weather is coming soon! Wouldn't you love to have a running buddy?
