Jan. 2, 2025:  Della and Edie were two of 8 puppies dumped in a rural area when they were 7-8 weeks old.  Not much else is known about them. They landed here yesterday and are in the process of decompressing and learning to trust. They're quiet in their crate and active outside, have good appetites, and are being kept warm and safe. They are being introduced to cats, the resident dog, and sheep. Jan. 6, 2025:  Della is a happy, confident puppy and full of typical puppy energy.  She enjoys exploring and playing outside.  She was a hit with the office staff at her first vet visit.  She was understandably nervous, and coped by keeping her eyes shut and groaning softly the whole time.
