Jasmine 6382 is a 4 year old German shepherd with a touch of Husky in her background. A stray, Jasmine was rescued by VGSR from an overcrowd shelter in rural Virginia. Jasmine is very loving and has proven to be a Velcro companion in her foster home. She is house trained, crate trained, gets along with people, dogs, (she currently resides with 2 other female German Shepherds). Her limited exposure to a cat was uneventful. Jasmine walks very nicely on a leash and loves her outings in the car. After being exposed to water at the beach and a brook, she eagerly lay down in the water splashing around like a young child. She is very smart and has adapted to her foster family’s environment quickly. Jasmine knows how to sit and likes to give you her paw when doing so. While quite docile in the house, she does love to run and enjoys sprinting around her fenced in backyard. Being a free loving spirit who is an escape artist, she requires a fenced in backyard or ample opportunities to run in an enclosed area untethered by a leash. Jasmine would make someone a terrific jogging buddy. Potential adopters who are wanting a fun loving, affectionate companion, Jasmine is your girl.
