Meet Freyja 6275. She’s a sister to Nova 6274 and Sabre 6273. These girls were rescued from a shelter in NC on 3/10/23 where they were surrendered by their owners. The girls came to us unnamed, but have learned their names already.
Freyja seems the more independent of the three so far. She likes to explore every inch of the backyard and with her coloring sometimes you lose her because she blends in with the leaves! When she's not off doing her own thing or mixing it up with the others she will come and sit next to you and watch the others like she is the Queen watching over her subjects.
During the day, she and her sisters are currently in a playpen that’s 26” high and Freyja has discovered she can climb out of it! The girls came to us not potty/crate trained, so we’re working on that as well. Although they’re not potty trained in regards to a crate, Freyja and her sisters do sleep well in their crate overnight.
The girls are living with a Husky, two GSDs, a GSD/Great Pyrenees mix, and a cat. Currently the majority of the interaction with the cat has been through the playpen and they’ll just bark at the cat. All of the girls are getting along really well with all of our dogs and are fearless in going up to them, but are learning to respect boundaries when our dogs tell them to!
We will update Freyja’s bio as we learn more about her. Approved adopters can email her Foster Mom at:
