10/2/22 Update: Lady is nothing short of perfect. She is one of the easiest dogs that we have fostered. She likes everyone and is up for whatever activity you want to do but she is also happy just spending time with you. She likes going for car rides and doesn't get car sick. She doesn't bark. Lady will sometimes sleep in her crate with the door open but she doesn't really need a crate and does just fine when left out. She does not have separation anxiety but has the cutest entire body wag when you greet her. She likes napping on the couch and will often relax in her own little spot and just observe. She isn't overly active but does enjoy going outside and when you say the word outside she does a little happy dance! She did great at the vet's office and was hit with the staff. Lady does well with the 15 year old in her foster home and has met smaller children at a recent event and did fine. She is affectionate but not a smother you type of girl. Lady deserves her second chance forever home where she will be loved and spoiled! Lady 4860 is a 5 year gal and she is just the best girl! Lady was dumped at a shelter that was over capacity and euthanizing dogs. Luckily, VGSR was contacted and we were able to put her into boarding for a few weeks until a foster home opened up. Her poor ears have been tore up by fly strikes on the backs of them but it doesn't seem to bother her. Lady sure has had a bumpy ride - fast forward and she is very happy to be in her foster home. Lady has been a complete joy. She is potty trained and she rests in her crate without making a peep. She rides well in a car and she has pretty good leash manners. Lady is nothing but a big ball of love! She is friendly with everyone and has a very gentle and sweet disposition. Lady is completely vetted and ready to find her forever family! Lady can be reactive to other dogs in her space and would be happiest as a solo dog. She seems to do better with smaller dogs. We are unsure about cats but with her temperament she could possibly do well with cats.
