LOIS is a beautiful young 2 year old black shepherd mix. She is super friendly and happy female  Lois enjoys playing and wrestling with other dogs with proper introduction. She loves to be outdoor mostly but she is also learning to be indoors more and learning to be in crate during quiet time. She now sleeps in the crate overnight and getting comfortable with the process. She is also learning basic obedience and she sits and downs on command. She walks fine on leash and takes correction well. She is bit fearful pup and just need a strong leader who can build her confidence.

She came into our rescue from North Carolina shelter with her 6 weeks old litter of pups. She has been a very caring and loving mom. She takes care of her pups very well, being a first time mom(possibly). She has been nursing them until 8 weeks and she completely weaned off from nursing now as her pups are 13 weeks old. She acts like a pup herself at times when she plays. She occasionally grabs her favorite squeaky toys from pups play pen and enjoys playing with it separately. 

When she arrived she had lots of skin irritation and hair loss(possibly due to fleas). She has been treated for skin issues and she in a great shape now.

Lois is also tested LOW POSITIVE for Heart worms during her December blood work. She is been on slow kill treatment plan since and gets her preventive medications monthly. She will be spayed some time soon and will be ready for adoption.
