Geno is a very sweet, intelligent, and active German Shepherd. He was found as a stray in North Carolina and not much is known about Geno’s past. He is about one or two years old.

What we do know is that Geno is still very much a puppy, he wants to play, wants to please and wants to be right next to you. He is extremely loving, gives kisses, asks for belly rubs, and wants to play fetch all day long. At first, he can be very shy, but once he has verified that you are okay, game’s on and you have been accepted! he gets friendly and very excited. I took him to the Dulles expo, and he did great! He was extremely friendly with people, kids, and other dogs.

As far as training, he picked up sit, down, and here. He loves treats! He is also being potty trained, and he has done great so far. Geno likes to learn, and his mind needs to be busy. My opinion, is that a lot is new for Geno and he needs someone with patience that will teach him how to be a well behave dog. Geno does great in the car, needs work on his leash matters, but doesn’t pull much, and he is crate trained.

Geno will need a fenced yard and would do best with an active family that already has another young dog for Geno to play with. Geno is actually small framed, but he is definitely strong and he might be too much for really young kiddos. Geno is one of those special dogs with so much potential and the best attitude. He is really very sweet and friendly.
