Luna 3884 is a sweet and vibrant 6 year old female GSD. She was picked up at a stray and spent a month in the shelter before coming into VGSR. When Luna was found she was severely emaciated. She was rated a 1/9 on the body condition scale (BCS), she had fly strikes to her ears and some broken teeth. Since coming into rescue, Luna is doing fantastic and gaining weight.  Luna is a playful girl - she enjoys the company of other pups, she likes going for walks, and playing keep-away with softballs and toys. Luna is working on her leash manners. She likes to stop, smell, and investigate everything while she walks. She's very interested in other dogs and can be vocal with small unfamiliar dogs but she just wants to get close, sniff and make friends! She loves snuggling in a cozy dog bed and she rides well in the car. Luna is also highly food motivated. She gladly sits and offers her paw for treats. Luna is the BEST girl with a genuinely sweet disposition. She is great with kids and has a human foster brother who is 10. Luna would prefer a home where she can go for her daily walks and with would love another dog who likes to play with tennis balls and ropes.
