12/3/20: Who needs a Christmas Story when you can have your very own Ralphy! Ralphy 4803 is a young, 14 month old GSD. He was picked up by animal control several times and was eventually surrendered to a shelter. Ralphy is a SUPER sweet pup who absolutely loves people and toys. He has met strangers in Lowes as well as children and has done excellent. Ralphy likely was not socialized with dogs and would be best as an only dog. In time and with very slow introductions he may be able to do better with dogs but for now he would prefer his people all to himself! Ralphy has not been tested with cats but he does seem to have a prey drive and enjoys chasing squirrels. Ralphy is house broken and has done great in his crate at bedtime. He loves car rides and bonds quickly. He is very intelligent and knows sit and shake. Ralphy was neutered today. He is a healthy boy but is currently being treated for worms, Lyme disease and Ehrlichia (tick borne illness). He will be on doxycycline for 30 days and started a dewormer.
