Meet Sam, a very unique boy! Sam is a 7 month old GSD who came from Oman, which is near Saudi Arabia. Sam's owner became ill and surrendered him to a rescue group in Oman who then contacted VGSR. Sam is adjusting well, he has been through a lot over the last week with jet lag, time change and new scenery! He has been a little nervous about his surroundings but is coming out of his shell very well! Sam loves playing with a ball in the yard and chew toys. He does well with other dogs. Sam doesn't appear to know english commands so he will need someone willing to spend some time teaching basic obedience, he is currently learning "sit" and doing fabulous. He is doing wonderful with crate training and he appears to be potty trained but will need continued consistency. Sam is gentle, curious and has the most genuine eyes.
