Hi! My name is Lucky!! I am a 2 year old spayed female whose owner couldn't keep anymore and left me at the shelter.  The shelter saw that I was a bit of a nervous nelly and did not like the environment there and they called VGSR.  I am truly a Lucky dog!!

I need some help with new people and dogs as I haven't had a lot of exposure to either.  My foster parents are helping me and I need a home where this can continue or be the only dog.  I am very affectionate and love to bury my head in my fosters laps for head and neck rubs!  Feels so good!!   I am learning "Sit" "Come" "Over here"(heel) and "Down".  I get really good treats for doing those things!  I would love a home where it is more on the quiet side, lots of exercise, some more work on building my confidence and lots of love!  I want to be the center of attention! And I absolutely love to run and play keep away with a ball!!!

I do need more work and prefer very slow introductions to other dogs and new people.  I absolutely LOVE to chase cats so if you have one, my fosters say it would probably not be a good fit.  Darn! BUT, if you want to spend some time and effort, I will make a fantastic new addition to your family!
