Hi! My name is Rosie and my foster mom says that I am a very sweet 7-month old German Shepherd mix.  I'm crate trained (although I'm not a big fan of it) but it’s okay; once I give my foster mom my brown puppy dog eyes I get to have free roam of the house. I have a lot of energy and really love to race around the back yard with my other furry friends. When I finally get tired I go inside and snuggle with mom and dad.  In the house are these fluffy things called cats that I’d like to play with too but my foster mom watches my every move if they’re around when I’m awake.

You wouldn’t guess it I’m actually shy so I act a little protective of my foster family so no one figures out my secret. It takes a little while but I always warm up to strangers.  When I was younger I didn’t get much play time with people so I like to put their hand in my mouth to keep them with me. My foster mom is trying to teach me not to do that but it’s hard to remember.  After all I AM a puppy.

I can sit, lay down, and show belly for belly rubs. Foster dad says I am getting better on a leash and am good with kids as long as they are part of my family.   I can hardly wait to meet them –
I hope they can keep up with me.

Well, got to go run around the yard.  They might be out there looking for me!
