He is hound and German Shepherd mix. His name is Rufus. He can sit, stay, roll over, back up, fetch, drop a toy on command, seek for treats, get a "ball", get a "rawhide", by command, go up stairs by telling him "up". Just lots and lots of fun stuff. He loves water, when I first got him he actually climbed into the shower with me, EEK!!! Only once! He has been neutered and has his shots. BUT he is also anxious so he barks and wants to chase small animals. I've been told he is reactive. If he sees someone walk down the street from inside the house he barks at them. He is just too big and strong for me. He has pulled me down a few times when he wanted to chase small animals. He is too forceful and tense around small animals but plays well with larger breed dogs. He has to be crated if no one is home because he is anxious and chews on everything. He needs someone who can train him out of the reactive behaviors and get him the exercise he needs.
