Sarge is a big boy and is friendly after he gets to know you but can be a little bossy at times. He came to us after spending over a month in a shelter where he did not do well. He has done well here with my dogs and has been good with everyone he has met so far. He is very attentive and is eager to please. He does well in a crate at night and if he continues with good behavior he will get to sleep outside the crate. I do not think he would do well with cats because of his size. Sarge would probably be best as an only dog and will need a strong leader to keep him in line and keep him from being overprotective.
