I am sad to announce that Diego is back in the market for a new home. He's a goofy puppy who so badly wanted to play with the numerous cats, that he was very fixated on them. He also tore up a few couch cushions, so it may be wise to crate him (yes, he crates wonderfully). His former home who surrendered to VGSR didn't use a crate and didn't have issues, so he may have been bored or stressed that the cats wouldn't come play!

Below is my original write up. While it states I'd like a cat home, I'm more reluctant this time around. A multiple cat home is likely not in his future.

8/26/16   Meet Diego, a remarkable dog who has been let down one too many times. Barely over a year, he's been tossed around through four different homes. This poor guy bonds instantly and loves everyone in his path, to include dogs, cats and children. If you're looking for the perfect dog, you've found it. I have yet to find one negative or undesirable trait with Diego.

Diego recently lost an eye after being kicked by a horse. It doesn't seem to impact him any. Diego is desperate for furry friends to play with, but due to constant abuse from other dogs he is very shy and timid upon initial meeting. He is submissive to dogs, but eager to make friends. 

He is currently living with two GSDs and a toddler. He loves to give kisses and rolls over for belly rubs. He has no aggression and loves to run around outside with a soccer ball. He's a cuddly guy and prefers to lay on your lap on the bed and couch. If you don't enjoy dogs on the furniture, then he probably isn't the dog for you. 

Preference to homes with friendly dogs/cats and kids!
