Lucky is 100lbs 11 months old purebred sable male GSD that came to VGSR as an owner surrender. He is up to date on vaccinations and had lived in his previous owner’s backyard. He was purchased from local pet store as a puppy and was a gift ‘the dad’ bought for his daughter. Dad and daughter loved him dearly. Unfortunately Mom was never on board with Lucky. As he’s gotten bigger, Mom became less tolerant. And poor Lucky wasn’t allowed in the house.

Currently, Lucky is living with 4yo female GSD foster sister and 2 human foster siblings. He is a puppy trapped in an adult body. As a result being left alone outside for most of his life, he is scared when being left. He managed to escape from his crate couple times and when foster mom arrived home from work and found him, he was fine. He is not destructive, but he whines and jumps. He settles down pretty fast knowing that his foster GSD sister was there with him.

Lucky would be best going to a very active family that would spend a lot of time with him and won’t leave him alone for more than 3 hours a day.
