Meet Jericho. He was trapped by animal control after being spotted running loose for a month. When he was finally caught and the AC officer approached the trap instead cowering back or barking he just stood there and wagged his tail. He was taken to the vet and they started treatment on his severly infected ears. He has responded well to treatment and is very friendly and just wants to rubbed all over. I took him to the vet today and his ears are greatly improved. Unfortunantly he tested positive for heartworms. He will be going back to the vet for a checkup in two weeks and if he has progressed enough we will set him up to be neutered and while under sedation the Doctor will be able to do a more complete exam of his ears to determine if there is any permanent damage. Once we get his ears healed we can begin the heartworm treatment.

Once again Jericho is a great dog with a wonderful temperament.Jericho has been great with my other dogs and has been no trouble at all. He met many dogs and cats at the vet today with no reaction.
