Meet Savannah, a GSD mix found as a stray in North Carolina. After living in foster care for a month, Savannah is beginning to show her true colors. She is a joyful puppy in need of a loving family.

Savannah absolutely loves children and enjoys playing with other dogs. While it is unlikely that this sweet girl would intentionally harm another animal, her tendency to chase small animals indicates that she would do best in a home without cats.

We are still working with Savannah on her manners. Like any young puppy, she likes to test boundaries and needs correction from time to time. Savannah is crate and house trained. She will indicate the need to "go potty" by standing at the door. Thus far, she has showed no interest in chewing household items; however, she will pick up socks or shoes left on the floor. Savannah is not food aggressive and will allow hands in her food bowl. Believe it or not, she was extremely well behaved at the vet’s office! The key is her frog toy. We will be sure to send it along to her new forever home.
