I am a one year old happy, loving and easy going girl who loves to go for walks, runs, swims, play catch  with a tennis ball and play with my squeaky toys.  I love to run and play with other like-minded dogs and my goal in life is to one day catch a squirrel. (Not sure what i would do with one but I'll cross that bridge when i reach it). I'll chase a cat if they run, but if they are used to dogs and just sit there, i get a little confused. I'm a great shepherd dog: smart, loyal, and protective with a fearsome but rarely heard bark. My foster family really likes my short (lightly shedding) coat.  I'm still a bit of a puppy but I'm smart and learning to come, sit, down, speak, shake, and stay. I still pull a little on the leash but I'm getting better. I do get a car sick but we're working on it. I live with my foster mom and dad and their six year old son. I love to walk up to the bus stop and play with all the kids in the morning and really like children. I have a crate but don't need to spend time in it as I'm very well behaved in the house. My foster family would love to see me go to home with kids and lots of space so I'll have a chance to get plenty of exercise. Recently I learned that I can jump over our four foot fence to say hi to all the neighborhood dogs when they pass, so you'll need to consider that if you decide to adopt me. Someone committed to taking me to a dog park and some dog training would be a big plus and another dog for me to play with would be nice also. Mostly I'm happiest just being around my family. I'm recently spayed and up to date on my shots.
