Faris is an intact male bi-color GSD mix approximately 2 years old. He is a high mix, looking like a GSD all over but in certain directions his head looks like there is something else in there. He has a blocky head and his ear tips are soft and bounce around when he moves. He is very intelligent and does well with people. He is treat motivated and will be easy to train. He is interested but non-reactive to large dogs. He was found running with a large dog. He was slightly interested in a cat after it swatted him on the nose, but he lost interest when it did not run. He is also fascinated by small yappy dogs and the tail goes up. He has shown no aggression in any meetings he has had with animals or people. He allowed me to handle him all over his head and body and pull around in his mouth. He was great during his bath, wagging the whole time. He even tolerated the loud high speed blower that blew the water out of his coat after his bath. The longer he is out of the pound, the more relaxed he gets and he seems like a very happy dog. The pound staff noticed no food aggression or interest in other dogs as he walked by cages. He is a dog that is willing to please and should develop into a loyal companion.
