Hi, my name is Luna. Thank you for stopping by to read my bio. My foster mom calls me Luna-tic, Luna-Dune, and LooLoo. When she is training me, it is strictly Luna so I can learn my name. Here is a little about me. I was found as a stray weighing in at 37 lbs. Ya, I know I am a tiny little thing but with a big heart. VGSR stepped in to rescue me and had me spayed. Little did any one know, I also had a severe case of dermititis. Two days after being spayed I was knocked out again and shaved down so that my foster mom could put topical antibiotics on all my sores. I was in so much pain that I growled at every one who accidently touched my sores. I am on 3 weeks of antibiotics pills. My foster mom said after that I am available for adoption. One week into my treatment, and you can hardly see the redness. I feel so much better. Not too worried about my hair being shaved off, it will grow back.
A little more of my personality. I am a love bug. If you start petting around my neck area I will flop over for belly rubs, which I would not let you do before hand as I was in so much pain, but now I want love, love love. Since I am learning my name, my foster mom has to pull on my collar at times to follow, but once I am taught what it is she wants me to do, I get it the first time. Well, excect for when the cat is in the room, we are still working on that. At first, I was so nervous around other dogs, I growled at my foster brother and sister. I was kept separate from them. My foster brother has been teaching me how to trust and play. Of course, this upsets his sister who wants to protect him so she is kept inside while we play. My foster Mom leaves us all out together now when some one is home. I growl a few times at my foster sister, as we both want to be Alpha, but she can have it, I am a nervous little girl. I am put into my own room when every one leaves. I howl every time she puts me in there but she saids it is so everyone will be safe when she comes home. I am going to need proper introduction to other dogs. I am great with submissive dogs. My foster mom has been working me and her pack. With time, and slow introduction I will be fine with other dogs. They just make me nervous at first. I would prefer a home with a male. They are easier for me to get along with.
I am very interested in the cat. Not in a I want to eat her, she is a funny looking thing. We have sniffed each other, and I actually licked her. Then she decided to run away, so I ran after her. Silly cat. I will be good around cats. They are fun to chase in a playful way.
My foster mom is working on putting weight on me. She is feeding me 5 times a day. She thinks I wont get any bigger than around 55 pounds. I am going to be short and fit. My looks are fantasic, see my nose, I have that elegant look. I am a lady. I want to be around every one. This is new to me and I love the attention.
I still have a few things to learn, but with patience and training, I am going to be your best friend for life. I just want to be with you. If I sound like I might fit into your home and your an approved adopter, please have your case worker get in touch with my foster mom.
