This sweet little girl waits all day just to love someone. She is between 18 months and 2 years old and gets along great with people and children! She even snuggles with my two year old! Sarena (we call her Evey) was said to get along with all dogs, but once she becomes acclimated with our family, she gave a few dogs the warning (non–agressive) "this is my family" growl. We are unsure if she would follow it up with any violence, but being that she is around all of 33 pounds, she should be easily corrected.

Honestly, this is the face of every dog that didn’t make it out of the shelter in someone’s arms. She came into the shelter as a stray, but has obviously been someone’s pet. She cannot stand the crate and is an escape artist! Based on her bathroom and food schedule, I believe she may have been crated for very long hours at a time. She is non–destructive and can be left inside alone for long periods without issue (although she has gotten in the trash once, but didn’t make a mess of it.) She is non–agressive with food, toys, petting, pulling, brushing...you name it! She just wants to be loved on and will love you back!

She is stunning with pie–bald tan and white fur on her four legs and a slight bend in her right ear! She looks exactly like a German Shepherd, but because of her size she is most certainly a mix. She has the GSD personality though and is your newest shadow! Sarena has very little training and we are working with her on that, but so far I can tell you she is becoming quite a lady on the leash, rides like a pro in the car and she knows the command "down". She is currently learning to Sit, Stay, Lay Down, Eat and Come. She knew nothing when she came to us. She is not too much of a barker, but when you go to leave she does whine. She is jumpy when she hears certain noises but is quick to settle down and is getting better every day. She bonds quickly and will most likely be a one person dog, though she will love everyone in the home!

This sweet little dog came within hours of death, but thanks to VGSR and some wonderful people, she was pulled at the last minute and now she is searching for her forever home.
