Hi there! I'm Rico. They tell me Im probably a malamute shepherd mix. Not long ago I was fending for myself in southwestern VA but then the Animal Control picked me up and took me to the shelter. I didn't really let that get me down though like it does some other dogs. Recently these nice ladies from VGSR sprung me out of the shelter and transported me all the way up to my new foster home. Its really cool at my foster home. I have foster brothers and a sister to hang out with. I really like them but I just wish they would play with me more. My foster mom keeps telling me I need to chill out a bit but Im just so excited to play its hard. The other cool thing here is that I get to live in a house. It was hard at first with all the new rules like not peeing on things and not jumping up on the counters but because I really like living indoors so much, Im really trying hard to follow all the rules. While I really like it here, I would really love a forever home of my own. I promise to keep trying to learn things but I would really love a human that will help me continue learning. Ive got a great big, happy personality and Id really love a human that has a big personality too to match mine. If you have a dog that loves to play, Id be in heaven!
