If you're looking for a loyal and affectionate companion who’s past the puppy stage but still ready to hit the trails, Jack is your guy!
Jack’s year started with quite the journey—three homes and a shelter in just a month. Shelter life wasn’t the best fit for him, and now he’s part of the VGSR family.
In his foster home, Jack has proven to be chill, easygoing, and quick to learn. He picks up on routines, understands house rules, and takes corrections well. He loves his toys but is happy to share so you can join the fun! Jack enjoys his walks, greeting people and dogs along the way, and when it’s time to rest, he willingly settles into his crate for naps or a good night’s sleep.
Jack can get excited and sometimes forgets his size, so his enthusiastic greetings might be a bit overwhelming for some dogs. While Jack is friendly, he’s been an only pet in his original owner’s home and will need to learn to share his humans with resident pets in his forever home. He’s had brief encounters with feline foster siblings, but he greeted them politely, remained calm and respected their boundaries.
After all the changes he’s been through, Jack will thrive with a patient adopter who can help him settle in at his own pace and introduce him to new things gradually. In return, he’ll give you unwavering loyalty, affection, and a lifetime of joyful moments.
Could Jack be your perfect match? Approved adopters may contact Jack's foster (operationhailey@gmail.com).
