PUPDATE:  01/04 - Oz has adjusted quickly, he is playing and chewing and scampering all over.  He has the sweetest brown eyes and still loves to cuddle up for a movie (Wicked) or some college hoops.  He curls up at my feet under my desk while I work, and is so easy to have around the house.  He has been vetted and microchipped.  

Oz is a sweet puppy who is learning what it is like to be warm, safe and loved.  He and his littermates were dumped in a very rural area when they were no more that 7-8 weeks old.  Someone found them, set them up in an outdoor straw pen and seeked help.  So here is Oz...He is quietly taking it all in, not sure what is going on or where he is.  However, he curled up in my husband's lap upon arrival yesterday like a champ, with a warm fire and watched some football games.  He met the resident GSD's with a gentle tail wag and some gentle licks - they are very sweet with him.  He is watching them and I am sure it is a matter of moments before he is playing.  Oz is fostered in Northern VA, if you are an approved adopter and would like to find out more about sweet Oz, please email his foster at kbkief4@gmail.com.
