German Shepherd Dog (medium coat) : : Female (spayed) : : Adult
Willa 6378 is an amazingly affectionate, intelligent, action-oriented lady who loves the outdoors. To her, ball is life and playing fetch is everything. She enjoys being brushed, given scritches, and making cameo appearances on Zoom meetings. Willa is a champion couch cuddler and a total cuddle bear. We are working on her leash manners, and she is doing well with basic commands, she can sit, shake, drop, leave and crate. Willa goes to her crate on command and settles quickly. We've had no accidents in the house or in the crate and she is letting us know when it is time to go outside. She is a fabulous car rider; she hops right in the backseat. Willa gets overly excited upon meeting other dogs. She is so eager to meet them, that other dogs may perceive her excitement as aggressiveness; gradual introductions are needed. She plays well with our energetic female Shepherd, shares the ball and brings it to her when she wants to play. Willa hasn't met a human stranger yet and loves to say, "hello" to all people. She did extremely well meeting our 6-year-old niece and they both instantly fell in love with each other. She has not been tested with cats; with her enthusiasm, I might not recommend her around small animals or children, as she might knock them over. Willa is up to date on vaccines and has been spayed. If you are an interested and an approved adopter that has questions or would like to meet her, please contact Willa's Foster Mom, Ashley, by emailing thebarkers1102@gmail.com - Willa is being fostered in the Richmond area.
