2/28/22: Despite his rough and tough name, SCAR 4887 is as sweet as pie! He was surrendered to a shelter due to his owner's housing situation changing. He is the total package for an adopter looking for an active, athletic, super brains type of dog. Scar is 10 months old and still has quite a bit of maturing to do. He has been socialized and does well with people and other dogs. He seems to have had some basic training - he understands sit, down, paw and we are working on stay and place. Scar is the perfect candidate for advanced training and would excel with anything that he is taught - it would also help boost his lack of confidence. Scar is not a couch potato dog, although he does enjoy relaxing on a comfy couch. He is an attention snob and will whine for more rubs. He can be mouthy and no doubt with his goofy energy he would easily knock a child down by accident with his exuberant puppy antics!
